Ingredient architecture

A focused botanical architecture combining complementary carotenoids, rosemary antioxidant compounds and a functional alfalfa base.

Carotenoid system

Marigold + paprika

Standardized marigold and paprika are established sources of complementary yellow and red yolk carotenoids. This is the visible side of the formula.

Antioxidant system

Rosemary leaf

Rosemary is a natural source of antioxidant compounds including carnosic acid and carnosol. It was selected to add an antioxidant pathway beyond pigmentation.

Functional botanical base

Alfalfa leaf · Medicago sativa

Alfalfa was selected as more than a carrier. Medicago sativa is a well-established forage species in poultry nutrition and a natural source of lutein, beta-carotene and other carotenoids. It gives the formula a textured botanical base while complementing the marigold and paprika carotenoid system.

Why rosemary

Egg quality goes beyond yolk color.

Yolk color is the most visible signal, but it is only one measure. Published laying-hen research has evaluated specific rosemary forms and doses for antioxidant status and internal egg-quality measures.

That evidence informs the ingredient architecture. It does not establish an outcome for the finished formula.
